Ishtar - From the Gates EP: metalchroniques.fr
In this year 2013, I'll cat doorbell surprise after surprise. Who knew there was still a few months of that I could get interested cat doorbell in a group of Black / Death? It seems that the brainwashing suffered in the recent Mass Deathtruction Festival in Belgium is beginning to bear fruit. I knew I should have been wary of the proposal priori without cat doorbell ulterior motives Mister Potato and Hamster. In short, in any case you have to face reality, everything cat doorbell attracted me to ISHTAR. The first form through this proposed for the first EP, From the Gates of our compatriots cat doorbell beautiful digipack. Celebrating the beautiful cover signed Geoffrey "Exphrasis" Ernault (website here), which leads us to the mysterious and disturbing shores. Always travel through the band's name, referring to ancient cat doorbell Mesopotamia to the Ishtar, one of the eight gates of the inner city of Babylon built by Nebuchadnezzar II and dedicated to the eponymous goddess cat doorbell Ishtar Gate. This oriental fragrance panic my taste buds!
Recall that in the introduction ISHTAR, the group, was born in early 2010 and has members including music, original, appears to be influenced by DARK FORTRESS and DISSECTION. cat doorbell The first EP, From the Gates, was released in 2013 and the group is now ready to share his music on stage.
After a mysterious instrumental introduction to wish serious cat doorbell things start with a bang "Invading Empire." All elements of extreme tasty cocktail are present: inspired riffs, fast rhythms, powerful vocals and tortured. Without being an expert, I think Ishtar was able to digest with talent and intelligence influences and offer its own extreme interpretation. Epic passages and warriors abound and darker, icy and clinical environments. Like his comrades, Helheim behind the microphone offers a very good performance, sometimes Black ("Invading Empire") sometimes rather Death ("From the Gates"). ISHTAR is proof that darkness can be very seductive. Like the eponymous goddess, the group offers a sound maelstrom with life and death, our passage through this world in its positive and negative aspects. The songs keep coming naturally, without downtime and From the Gates runs at full speed. The production is of an excellent standard, the powerful and clear. The performance of each is enhanced.
Through this drive and six compositions, Parisians are positioned immediately as sacred outsiders on a Black / Death scene rich in turmoil. Regrettably few laps here and there (the middle section of "Invading Empire") but these few pitfalls are easily forgiven for such a young group. Parisians offer us a solid first visit card suggesting tomorrows. That's all the evil we wish them.
